My name is Jill and I am so happy to have found such a wonderful place with so many understanding people.
For so many years I was just grasping at straws just trying to figure out what was "wrong" with me. I have been to the doctors so many times, so much counseling, have been diagnosed with depression and bi-polar II. But it wasn't until my husband stumbled across a site for BPD while looking for information for abused men that things really started to make sense. He felt like he hit the jack pot. He could relate to EVERYTHING that was on the site. He told me about how he came across this site and wanted me to read it. As I read the article I began to bawl, I could relate to everything that was on it. Not only the things that pertained to the symptoms and signs but I started to understand how my husband has been feeling for the last four years dealing with my abuse towards him.
I know that I have so much to learn as well as accept but it feels so good to know what direction to go in now. I am so excited to have found this forum where people understand and I feel that I can learn a lot here.
Thank You, Jill

hi, glad you found this site, i'm finding all the info really, really helpful and i'm sure you will too! i felt the exact same way as you when i read through the symptom list for the first time: everything clicks, then you feel horrid but at least now we're on the path to recovery!

pip and strawberry, thank you for the welcome. It's funny how just having some direction and understanding can help things seem more manageable. Now there are tools and steps to take to live a much happier, healthy life vs. just poking around in the dark just moving from one thing to the next. I look forward to learing as much as I can and adapting it to my life.
