I am new to the forum page. I am definitely someone who struggles with BPD (all of my life) but didn't have an explanation aka diagnosis until last year. In many ways, having a "face" to put to what I have always known to be "something wrong with me" has been a great blessing and has propelled me forward to take ownership of the thing and do all I can to be "my true self". God Bless everyone as we fight the good fight.

Hi Shawn and welcome!
I felt the same way you did when I found out about BPD. It was validation of all the pain I'd felt my whole like. Now, I thought, let's do something about it! I found this place, got into therapy and started taking meds. That was almost 10 years ago.
So I congratulate you on taking ownership and wanting to reach health. There will be ups and downs. Successes and failures. I hope the tools and the folks on this site are helpful to you.
Once again, welcome!
Trinity
