I spent several years dealing with bpd, something I feel I've gotten control of, but for the last year I've been a depression that appears to be 'under control now. I would now like to reinforce what I have learned from this board I was known then as cosmo

Hey Dagwood, welcome back!

Cynwyd,
I didn't want to give anybody the idea that I've gotten "out" of bpd; I was talking about the depression that began about a year and a half ago. The bpd is something that I have under control, but I feel that it is something I will always need to be aware of. I don't believe that there is any medication or therapy that will eradicate bpd. It has been 30 years since I first had an'y therapy, and I was a difficult patient; I was into self-mutilation and half-hearted attempts to commit suicide I was an in-patient several times, but with each subsequent admission I learned more about m'yself. The big thing for me was having the motivation necessary to benefit in a permanent way. I guess I'm not being very clear, ha,ha but an'yway, it's an ongoing process --neverending, at least for me.
