Wow! It is now two weeks before the end of my first semester in graduate school. It has been an experience. On a microperspective – 1.25 more of a paper and one oral presentation and I am done. This last five months has gone by so fast. I feel like I haven’t just written for myself in forever. I know I am supposed to be balanced, and accepting that it doesn’t HAVE to be all out, and yet, and yet, I am so close to getting straight A’s. If Marcia were here, she would be so incredibly proud of me right now. I am proud of me right now. God knows, there have been bumps in this last five months – splitting my studio with Darren and then my sister, adjusting to graduate school, adjusting and acclimating to all that this change entails … and yet, here I am, at the end of my first semester in graduate school. And, overall, I’ve done well. lol.

I am so happy for you. Way to go!!! are you going to get a holiday to relax and do what you want, write what you want, for at least a little while?
