well dont really no what to write at the mo but will as i go on. im 25 have two daughters and a husband. iv had lots of councling and been on pheripy corses. i struggle telling people about my past and things that are on my mind.cause i find myself boaring. so when i go to some sort of councling session i dont talk i like to be asked queston so i can answer, thy think i dont want help cause imnot very helpfull i dont know what to say to them. i keep getting past on to different doctors and waiting for apointments its very hard for me to no what to do
I know it can be hard to talk about yourself in therapy -- I had trouble at first too -- but unfortunately it's pretty necessary if you want to make progress and get better. The counselor isn't going to be bored -- he has never heard your particular story before. And he isn't going to judge you or make fun of you or anything like that.
Maybe if you stick around here and speak up a little about yourself, you can think of it as practice, and it will be easier for you to talk the next time you see a therapist face to face.
