My husband sent me a link to the article in the Denver Post the other day and I sent him a book with a personal invitation to join BPDR. I hope that he does (for his own sake - I doubt we would even know that he-personally-himself had joined the community.)
I am glad to see that there's a public face to it. I'm hopeful that this allows others to "come out" as well because I think it's long overdue. Then again, how many celebs have copped to Schizophrenia? To be fair, there have been a number of folks who speak up about depression and post-partum depression but it almost seems as though depression is an "acceptable" mental health issue whereas BPD still is not.
