Hi,
I'm just taking some time to introduce myself. My name is Maven and I was diagnosed with BPD in 2000.
I have always struggled in my relationships wih people.Before the BPD diagnosis,I was diagnosed w/ depression, social anxiety/phobia and anxiety disorders.
I knew even then that it had to be something more
as none of these disorders explained why I was so angry at people and prone to verbal outbursts.
I have since then done a lot of reading about BPD and feel that this diagnosis "fits" for me.
It gave me a framework in which I could undertand myself and my behaviour better.Now I am trying to learn better ways to handle my anger/disappointment so I don't lose jobs, friends or my self esteem! Anyway onward and upwards!
